The Lost Frog Shown
Some of amphibian species on mysterious status, they are not state extinct, but not shown the availability for tenth years. A number of biologists do an exhibition to find out the lost amphibian species on the Congo area.
After traveled for two years since 2009, scientists discovered five types of frogs which are all unique. The existence of frogs that actually have been described since 1950, but they seemed to hide themselves from humans.
One type of frog found in the Hyperolius leucotaenius. This frog has a transparent skin so that internal organs and even eggs could be seen. This frog species found in Elila River, southeastern Congo.
Hyperolius leucotaenius has a green head and body-colored transparent plastic tub. This frog also has a pattern of yellow lines and tip-toe orange. Not yet clear reason why this frog has a transparent body.
In addition, there are three species found in highland areas Itombwe, southeastern Congo. Two of them are Chrysobatrachus cupreonitens who have a body color of green and brown and Phrynobatrachus asper which have thick fleshy foot.
Asper Phrynobatrachus species discovery is unique. This species was rediscovered in 2009 when a villager in the highlands of Itombwe offer dinner made from the frog to the scientists.
One species from the highlands again Itombwe is fingered frog nail or Arthroleptis pyrrhoscelis. The development of the frog is unique because not pass tadpole phase. While the latter is Hyperolius chrysogaster species, found in the Kahuzi-Biega National Park, eastern Congo.
Expedition rediscovery of the lost amphibians is led by El Greenbaum, biologist at the University of Texas at El Paso. The expedition was funded partially by the research committee and exploration, National Geographic Society.

Snake Bite Serum
Patients bitten by venomous snakes are usually given anti-venom, snake venom antidote; unfortunately these drugs often cause severe allergic reactions. To overcome this, there searchers suggested give adrenaline in snake bite victims before they were given anti-venom.
In a study of 1,000 people who were taken to hospital from being bitten by venomous snakes in Sri Lanka, known to those given low dose of adrenaline immediately before the given anti-venom, allergic reaction was reduced to 43 percent within an hour and fell down to 38 percent in 48 hours.
Meanwhile, patients in the control group given promethazine, hydrocortisone or placebo, did not show the same benefits.
The researchers stressed the importance of these results, especially in countries where cases of snake bite is still a common health problems and allergic reactions resulting anti-venom because most lethal.
"Currently there is no action of anti-venom manufacturer or regulations of the WHO to improve the quality of anti-venom. Until that time comes, we can show early treat with low doses of the hormone adrenaline can be effective and safe for preventing acute reactions to the anti-venom," said researchers from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka.

The Giant Ant
This ant just fossil that is founded in Wyoming, United States, that predict the age about 50 years. This ant included of monster because the body have 5 centimeters long while other finding in out of US just has 3 centimeters long.
This full fossil have founded on Green River formation by fossil collector, Louis Lube. Now this fossil is kept in Sains Museum and Alam Denver.
Fosil utuh itu ditemukan pada Formasi Green River oleh kolektor fosil, Louis Lube. Kini fosil itu disimpan di Museum Sains dan Alam Denver. The ancient expert from Simon Fraser University said, this is the giant ant, like other giant ant in Germany.
Archibald name it with Titanomyrma Lubei, allegedly that this ant is migrated from several continent, from outside of United States to Wyoming several million years ago, across the mainland Arkik when the temperature was warm.
